DR. JUSTIN HANLON

A Pittsburgh native, Dr. Hanlon graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School in Squirrel Hill. He went to college at Penn State University, and then pursued his dental education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After graduating from UPenn, Dr. Hanlon spent several years refining his professional skills as an associate in private practices in the greater Philadelphia region and, most recently, in Pittsburgh’s North Hills. During this time, he expanded his dental training through extensive continuing education, including earning certifications in implant placement and Invisalign®.Dr. Hanlon is a member of the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the International Dental Implant Association, where he received his implant training after dental school.

DR. JULIE NICKMAN

Originally from Uniontown, Dr. Nickman attended Villanova University, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She completed her dental education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, followed by a residency in advanced general dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Nickman has worked in a variety of private practice settings, focusing on preventative and restorative dentistry: fillings, crowns, bridges, implant restorations, and cosmetic dentistry. She has also previously served as a clinical instructor to dental students. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages.

DR. JEFFREY BONO

Dr. Bono resides in Mt. Lebanon with his wife (Katie), daughter (Emerson) and dog (Parker).Dr. Bono, a resident of Mt. Lebanon and a Pennsylvania native, was raised in Panama City, Fl. He completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology. Following graduation, Dr. Bono moved back to Pittsburgh where he attended The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine earning his DMD in 2014 and has been serving patients in the Pittsburgh area since that time.

Sarah

Sarah is our Operations Manager and she has worked in the field for more than ten years. Her primary responsibility is making sure our team is doing all they can to provide a positive experience for all of our patients, and she LOVES it! She also assists our patients with understanding their insurance benefits, coordinating financial arrangements and appointments. Sarah and her husband Steve live on a farm in Claysville, with their two daughters, who participate in competitive horse riding. When their summer weekends are not spent at horse shows, or running a small farmers market on their porch, you can usually find them boating and enjoying the sunshine on Indian Lake

Tiffany

Tiffany obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from West Virginia University, where she taught for 8 years prior to entering the dental field. It was at WVU, that Tiffany met her husband, Frank, in 2014 and they have been happily married in the Pittsburgh area since 2018

Emily

Hi, my name is Emily. I am from Erie, Pennsylvania, attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Dental Hygiene program in 2017. I knew I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my grandfather, his brother and my uncle and join the dental field. I love being a dental hygienist because I am able to share my passion for oral healthcare by educating and completing a thorough cleaning on every patient at each visit that will hopefully make them leave with a bright and confident smile every time. The most rewarding part about my job is making my patients feel comfortable at the dental office, even if that means turning on their favorite Netlfix show during the appointment!

Amanda

Amanda (Hygienist) Amanda studied, at the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree, in dental hygiene. As one of our hygienists, she loves having the opportunity to educate patients, on the importance of oral health and to help them understand the best ways to make their at home routine most efficient. Her biggest passion at work, is giving patients the confidence to smile. Amanda lives in Southpointe with her boyfriend, Nick, and their mini-goldendoodle, Clark. When she isn’t at work, she loves spending quality time with her family, playing with her pup, golfing or fishing with Nick, and living life to its fullest.

Hi! My name is Mary. I have been a registered Dental Assistant for the past 30 years. I graduated from Western School of Health and Business in 1989. What I love most about my job is meeting new people and making personal connections. I specialize in putting people at ease so that they may let go of their dental fears and instead have a smile on their face. When I’m not working I love to spend time with my husband Pat and two daughters Cassie and Bailey (a future WVU Dental grad). My hobbies include cooking and travel.

Mara is from the North Hills area. She is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She graduated from Bradford technical school in 2009. Mara loves being an assistant because it allows her to put her artistic skills to use for the benefit of the patient. In her free time she enjoys fishing, being outdoors and playing dek hockey.

Hi! My name is Tammy. I’m the first smiling face you see when you walk into our office to check in. I am here to help you understand your insurance, help you with your treatment plan and find an appointment time that works for your schedule. I love being a part of this amazing office! In my spare time I love to travel and spend time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to meeting you!

Amber

Amber was a dental assistant for over ten years before joining our team. She was once a very anxious dental patient herself, so she can easily relate to when a patient has fear or anxiety, and strives to make them feel more comfortable and at ease. Amber grew up in a family with eight siblings and loves being part of such a huge family. She resides in Eighty Four with her husband, youngest daughter, and dogs. She is very proud of her older daughter who is currently active duty in the Marine Corp. Amber loves dogs, the ocean, and Tom Brady (sigh).

FULL-ARCH IMPLANT RESTORATIONS

Overdentures are just what the name implies. These dentures snap securely over dental implants, which are simply artificial roots. They are "removable”, meaning that patients can take them out for sleeping and cleaning. The "All-On-X" or "Hybrid" is similar to the overdenture in that they both are supported and retained by dental implants. Crowns and bridges over dental implants are very similar to crowns and bridges over natural teeth.

SLEEP APNEA

All new patients at Omni Dental will complete a sleep questionnaire to determine their risk-level of having OSA. High risk patients will be encouraged to complete a take home sleep study to confirm diagnosis.
